Enjoy a video scrapbook of the ride!

Howdy buckaroos and buckarettes!
It’s time to saddle up and head on out to Wickenburg for another fun weekend bike ride.

Feb 17 and 18, 2018

We’ll meet at the Albertsons parking lot on Carefree Highway just east of I-17. Arrive with enough time to be ready for a 10:00 departure.

Head west on State Highway 74. Pass by Lake Pleasant. Climb out of the Agua Fria River valley and roll past the saguaro covered slopes of the Bradshaw Mountain foothills.

These are some of the most beautiful sonoran desert vistas in the greater Phoenix area.

So, escape the noise and bustle of the city. Come join us in to our peaceful desert destination where you'll find clean air, small town hospitality and the west the way it was meant to be.

There will be vehicles available to carry your bags. We will stop for lunch before heading into town. We have a wonderful picnic planned with Kristi's Grilled chicken pasta. It’s a rolling 45 miles to the Best Western “Rancho Grande” in the center of town. Everybody is responsible for their own accomdodations.  Register for the event AND call the Best Western (928-684-5445) to make a reservation

We should have time to visit the Desert Caballeros Museum before a swim in the heated pool or a soak in the Jacuzzi. Then it’s on to Anita’s Mexican restaurant for good food and margaritas.

On Sunday morning, after breakfast, you may want to stop and visit the Hassayampa River Preserve  on the way home. We’ll probably finish by mid-afternoon.

If you’re interested in joining us If you have any questions about the ride call Kristi 928-202-2658 or email kristi@azbikeclub.org
